I began raising pet cavies in 1988.  In 1993, I purchased my first trio of show quality peruvians.  Since that time, I've raised each of the different breeds of cavy, except Teddy Satin.  In 2000, Sharon Toon was kind enough to share her beautiful white cresteds with me.  They were the foundation of my program, and a superior start. Over the years, I've added different lines to create my own line of white cresteds. 

In the Standard of Perfection, equal points are given for Type, Color and Crest: 20 pts each. 10 pts are also alotted for position of crest. Although the crest is what makes the breed different, the animals must also have solid type and the correct color for their variety.  I strive to balance all three qualities in my white cresteds.  Providing "more than just a crest".
